"My passion for dance and the human mind inspired my studies in World Arts and Cultures/Dance as well as Psychology at UCLA. Simultaneously studying the two disciplines enabled me to develop a unique perspective on mind-body relations. I am thrilled to pursue my Master in Human Development and Psychology at Harvard University this fall. A Master of HDP from Harvard makes my dream of becoming a successful, empathetic, and genuine clinician, a reality. I strive to help individuals, particularly children and individuals with movement disorders, achieve overall well-being. My work with kids with special needs, cancer, autism, and various pathologies strengthens my belief that dance and movement have the therapeutic power to heal. I aspire to one day have my own practice using dance movement therapy to help people achieve complete health, mindfulness, and happiness".
