World Arts and Cultures/Dance presents the 2018-2019 MFA3 Upstarts Series
In this must happen before the end., MFA candidates in Choreography Kristianne Salcines and Levi Gonzalez will share an evening of works that challenge traditional understandings of live performance, activate audiences' sensory engagement, and take on the need to cultivate responsible citizenship through a queer configuration of togetherness.

Please be advised, this must happen before the end. is an immersive theatrical experience that involves active viewership, which may include moving throughout the theater space and engaging with installation—like environments in multisensory ways. To that end, we request that items such as bags and purses be left out of the theater. A coatcheck will be provided. We also encourage comfortable footwear.

FOR FRIDAY NIGHT'S PERFORMANCE: This evening’s performance will be videotaped for both the artists’ and UCLA’s archives. Please note that your image may be included in the video documentation and that videographers will be present in the theater with you. These images will be used only for educational, archival, non-commercial purposes. Because of this, we require that you sign a short video waiver prior to attending this evening's performance.
