    Founded in 2006, the Art & Global Health Center at UCLA seeks to nurture a global network of artists, advocates and experts working in the realm of public health.

We offer a BA degree in World Arts and Cultures that focuses on three concentrations: community-based, arts activism; studies of visual culture; and critical ethnographies.

We offer a BA in Dance offering training and education in performance, composition, dance theory, videography, and dance in the public sphere.

We offer graduate training toward an MFA in Dance for those pursuing a professional choreographic career.

&

We offer both MA and PhD degrees in Culture and Performance where students develop

scholarly approaches to variously combined aspects of the

arts, globalization, curation, film, ritual, colonialisms,

politics, healing, and critical dance studies.
