LOS ANGELES, CA - The University of California Los Angeles Department of World Arts and Cultures/Dance (WACD) presents “In Bloom” – the dance major Senior Projects Showcase with student performances in Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater (Glorya Kaufman Hall room 200) at 7 PM on Friday, May 10th and 2 PM on Saturday, May 11th. A gallery representing components of the students' work will also be on display in Kaufman Hall’s Rainbow Lounge (front lobby) and on stage on show days for audience members to engage with. There will also be an audience and cast reception held in the Rainbow lounge following each showcase.

Tickets for this showcase are free and must be reserved on Google Forms. The Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater (room 200) is located in Glorya Kaufman Hall at UCLA. The street address is 120 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095. Parking is available for $16 beside Glorya Kaufman Hall in Parking Structure Lot 4. Enter campus from Sunset Blvd at Westwood Plaza (not Westwood Blvd) and process down the ramp into Structure 4.

IN BLOOM - The 2024 Dance Senior Projects Showcase presents the work of eight graduating dance majors as they explore a variety of choreographic themes, and prepare to blossom into their future. The pieces are choreographed by the individual senior students and developed over two quarters (Winter and Spring 2024). Each work is a maximum of six minutes in length and will be performed as either a solo or group performance. The show’s duration will be approximately 1.25 hours, including the eight choreographic works and a 10-15 minute intermission.

Choreographers include: Robbie Button, Claire Ciserella, Anusha Entezari, Kalea Escobosa, Kyla Kramer, Rachael Odebunmi, Ellianna Pascua, Reba Thomas
